Hatt Adventures is an outdoor adventure company & equipment store based in Brighton Marina. Since 2005, we’ve been running a variety of high-quality activities all across the UK. These include rock climbing, abseiling, kayaking, mountaineering, and many more.

Equipment

Our adventure shop in Brighton Marina has been open since October 2022. Not only are we the largest stockist of specialist mountaineering & water sports equipment in the Southeast, but we also brew an excellent White Cloud Coffee and always enjoy chatting with new customers.

All of our staff are incredibly passionate about the outdoors, so when you pop in store, you’ll be sure to get some expert advice along with your new kit.

Our climbing range is comprised of products by DMM, Black Diamond, Petzl, Wild Country, Boreal, Red Chili, Beal, and several others, while our water sports range features brands such as Ainsworth, Nookie, Peak, Yak, Sweet Protection, Zone3, Alder, Oxbow, and Pyranha.

Hire Services

The shop is situated in the perfect location to take our fleet of rental kayaks and stand-up paddleboards out on the ocean beside the chalky sea cliffs of Brighton! We also have a range of wetsuits, boots, and gloves available for hire on those colder days.

We accept walk-in hire sessions, and are one of the most affordable kayak rentals in Brighton & Hove.

Our aim is simple: to inspire and instil a sense of adventure in everyone.

Whether that’s by taking a group of new adventurers out on their first mountaineering trip, or assisting experienced adventurers take their skillset to the next level.

We also advocate a “no salesman” policy – All we care about is offering the best advice possible and ensuring that customers leave with the correct kit, prepared for whatever trip they’re embarking on next.

Free Parking

There is one hour of free parking available less than a stones-throw away from the shop, making it easy to transport any larger items and gives you plenty of time to browse.
