15 COMMUNICATION, MARKETING AND PRIZE DRAWS

15.1 Land Securities reserve the right to modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website, the prize draw and the material contained within (or any part) without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website or its contents.

15.2 When entering a prize draw, we will retain the details you supply. We will not sell or share your name, address, e-mail address or personal information to any third party without your explicit permission.

15.3 If you have signed up in-centre, on the website or via any other Landsec ran competition or promotion, we look forward to updating you on our latest news and special offers via e-mail, or in some cases, SMS.

15.4 All database members have the option to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us and/or selected third parties. If you do not wish to continue to receive marketing from us and/or selected third parties you should opt-out by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email or SMS communication which we might send you. We will then unsubscribe you from our mailing list within 5 working days.

16 BRIGHTON MARINA COMPETITION T&C’s

Promotion prizes will be set within the competition copy.
Promotions are open to the residents of the United Kingdom only. Entrants must be over 18 years of age.
Employees of Land Securities Properties Limited (the ‘Promoter’) and related companies are excluded from this competition.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.
Entrants must enter the competition as instructed in copy.
By submitting a completed survey, and opting in to receive future marketing communication, the entrant will be automatically registered to receive the Brighton Marina e-newsletter. Entrants can unsubscribe from the Brighton Marina e-newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link within the Brighton Marina e-newsletter.
All personal details will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy statement, available at https://www.brightonmarina.co.uk/privacy-policy/
One Prize Draw entrant will be selected by Brighton Marina. The closing time and date for entry is stimulated in copy. Any submitted entries received after this time will be included in the following draw.
The Prize Draw winner will be drawn at random under independent supervision at the close of each one month period and will be notified up to 14 days after the end of this period. The judge’s decision is final. Any correspondence will only be entered into at the discretion of the Promoter.
By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to take part in any publicity related to the Promotion, including photography and publication of their names.
The Promoter will not be liable if the Prize cannot be taken by a winner for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter. Return of prize notification as undeliverable or failure to respond to a prize notification within a reasonable time will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected at the Promoter’s discretion. In the event that a winner declines his or her prize the Promoter may elect, at its own discretion, to select an alternative winner.
Only one entry per person, per week to the Prize Draw is permitted.
The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for any entries that fail to be included in the draw for any reason whatsoever.

All lost, damaged or incomplete registrations will be deemed invalid. Proof of registration shall not be proof of delivery or receipt.

21. Christmas with the Clauses Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Christmas with the Clauses free prize draw run by Savills Property Management on behalf of Land Securities.

All participants in our Christmas with the Clauses free prize draw (“participants”) will be deemed to have accepted, and be bound by, these terms and conditions.

Conditions for entry

The free prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over but excludes the following;

any employees (and their family members) of Land Securities, and its associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies.

employees (and their family members) of any of the shops, cafes, restaurants and other outlets located at Brighton Marina; and

anyone else professionally associated with the Land Securities group or this promotion.

How to enter

To be eligible for the Christmas with the Clauses free prize draw, the participant must like and comment as instructed in the Facebook post’s caption.

No purchase or other payment is necessary for entry into the draw.

Each participant will only have 1 number of entries into the free prize draw.

Land Securities has the right to disqualify any participant not complying with, or any entry not made in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Entries sent in through agents or third parties will be disqualified. Late, incomplete or otherwise ineligible entries will be disqualified.

The prize

The prize for the Christmas with the Clauses free prize draw will be 1x family ticket for 4 people (2x adults and 2x children or 1x adult and 3 children) to the Christmas with the Clauses event at Brighton Marina on 09.12.2023, 11:00am. Please view event FAQs.

There is no alternative prize to that stated above, and in particular, there is no cash alternative and no element of the prize is transferable.

Land Securities retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of a similar value at its discretion.

Selection of the winner and collecting prizes

There will only be one winner and one prize.

The Christmas with the Clauses free prize draw will close at 23:59 on 26.11.2023.

The winner will be chosen at random by computer systems and notified on Facebook via the official Brighton Marina Facebook account within 3 days of the date on which the free prize draw closes.

In the event that Land Securities (having used its reasonable endeavours to do so) is unable to contact a winner within 20 days of the draw closing date, then Land Securities reserves the right to draw another winner.

The winner shall be required to collect the prize in person from Brighton Marina and they will be required to present valid photo ID to Land Securities to verify their identity. Land Securities shall provide more specific information about the pick up location when it sends notification of the win.

The surname and county of the winner may be published on Brighton Marina’s social media channels and website.

Land Securities’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond their control and for any act or default of any third party supplier.

The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter, its staff, associated companies and their staff or other entrants, which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive.
